The following explanatory notes concern ?'Ct& F-Wo weekly schedules for the period 15 through 26 June 1959. a. Study assignments for lectures are listed under "Remarks". Abbreviations prefacing texts and pamphlets pro- vide an indication of the time and effort to be devoted to- each assignment: (S) for study; (R) for read; (Sc) for scan. b. For those students wishing to study further, additional reading material is denoted by the abbreviation (Rec) for recommended (but not required) reading. Pamphlets and books in the recommended category are available in the Supply Room. 2. Also included in the weekly schedule under "Rem___ arks_?' STAT a. Information on student materials required in class; b. Reading assignments for which there are no complementary lectures; c. Other pertinent instructions as appropriate. 3. All classes will be conducted in the Auditorium unless otherwise specified in the schedules. 4. Syllabus, A syllabus for the Associate Course has been issued to each student. The purpose of the syllabus is to provide a compact subject reference of the material which will be presented during the Course.
