S, counter-- insurgency effort The length and content of this course were agreed upon by AID and CIA. It is expected that one such course will be conducted each month until all newly recruited AID police personnel have had this or?ienta- tion. It may be found that certain subject matter should be modified or eliminated or that the present four days of instruction is too short or unduly long. Since this is a pilot session, CIA is parti- cularly interested in class reaction. Participants are asked to note their reactions to lectures, assess content in terms of course objectives, and offer any suggestions which might lead to improve- ment. .101, ~Ir Approved For Release 2001/04/24: CIA-RDP 13J i~ T16 -1 " rI L Approved For Release 220011GR9- t BIZ "TiA 0300020003-8 ]onday - 15 April 1963 0900 -, 1020 1 The Nature and Significance of Strategic Intelligence 1040 1200 1 The National Security Structure 1145 - 1600 J The Strategic Intelligence Process The ideas and Appeals of Cor mudssm A brief review of the doctrines particularly as they apply to non- 0900 =., 1200 1 industrialized countries - an analysis of why the so-called "Marxist" approach is likely to find some acceptance in these societies.
