30 TD 1000 MC ANTENNA
Purpose: To design, develop, and fabricate five antennas for a
frequency range of 30-1000 me. The antennas will be for
outdoor use and be capable of being disassembled into
6 foot lengths or less.
Electrical Engineers:
Mechanical Engineer:
Status: Design parameters of t-ig, .8, or ... 45- for a planar
structure have been chosen. The gain of this antenna will be
7 db or better referenced to an isotropic radiator. The
front-to-back ratio will average better than 20 db with a
minimum of 18 db.
The mechanical design has been started and should be
completed during the coming month.
Future Plans: With the completion of the mechanical design, fabrication of
a full scale model will begin for electrical testing.
