Subject: Proposal for Discons Antenna Modification
Enclosure: (1) Three copies Detailed Cost Estimate
(2) One copy, Description and sketch of Antenna
Gentlemen:
In accordance with your request, we are submitting herewith our proposal
for the modification and measurement of a discone antenna. This proposal
is based on the following work.
1. Cut five modified discone antennas and fabricate five top plates
as shown on drawing furnished by the contracting agency, except
that some of the dimensions shown on the drawing will be changed to
permit packaging in thi specified box.
2. Reassemble one antenna and make far field E plane patterns
H plane patterns and gain measurements at eight frequencies as speci-
fied on the continuation sheet.
3. Pack five antennas in ten boxes constructed for this purpose in
accordance with the instructions on the continuation sheet.
4. Furnish one reproducible and three copies of the Test Data and
one reproducible and five copies of Assembly and Disassembly instruc-
tions.
Proposed delivery of above items is ninety (90) days from receipt of
authorization.

Our proposal on a cost plus fixed fee basis, including fixed fee, for the
work described herein is $5, 589.96. This proposal is considered firm
for a period of ninety (90) days from the date,of this letter and is proposed
on the basis that a cost plus fixed fee task order type of contract will be
used for this procurement.
If we may be of any further assistance or additional data is required,
it will be gladly furnished upon request.
