Item 1. FM Transmitter
a. This unit is to be completely transistorized so as
to reduce present size and weight.
b. A miniature remote control will be provided that
may be easily manipulated of the
user for controlling voice and ew operation of the
unit.
c. Dual operating controls will be provided, one set
to be located on the transmitter and the second set
to be located in the remote control box outlined in
Item lb.
Q. This unit will be capable of operating for a period
of not less than 30 minutes and with an RF output
of not ].ens than 700 milliwatts.
Item 2. FM Receiver,
a. The SQUELCH control should be placed where it may
be easily adjusted with the fingers so as to permit
adjustment of the receiver while in use to compensate
for varying noise conditions,
b. The 0W/0FF switch of the receiver should be placed
on the-SQUELC}t control.
c. This unit shall be capable of operating for a period
of 24 hours.
Item 3.
Item k. Battery Packs
a. The transmitter and receiver battery packs shall be
contained within a rigid case and provisions shall
be made to prevent leakage of the electrolyte into
the Circuitry of the equipment.
