1. Reference is made to the contractor's letter and its
attached reference dated 3 April 1959 wherein permission is
? required by the company to circulate detailed descriptions of
the items produced under the subject task orders.
2. Approval of this request cannot be granted to the
cooglany because of the nvaserous implications which my result
from wholesale removal of promotional restrictions. However,
the cc any should be instructed that individual and specific
requests to divulge infow^ation on any of the iteaw produced
under the subject tasks will be considered for approval.
3. Future requests should include (1) the name of the
organisation to which information will be given, (2) whether
or not an inquiry was nude about a similar type of equipment,
or (3) if the comp u y wishes to approach an organization which
csuy be interested in the items produced under the subject tasks.
