1. This Office is sponsoring the development of a miniature
Time Event Marker, IN-7, for use with ELINT collection systems. In
accordance with the quire ants of the subject task, the
is fabricating 15 prototype units l-
op g a a ao 1 to !attend the enviroraesntal limits of the
engineering models developed under Contract i)-76, Task Order 0.
2. The contractor has progressed satisfactorily during the
design and development of the ruggedised IN-7. It has now been
estimated by the contractor that the costs of this task Will exceed
those originally estimated. Attactod is the contractor+s letter dated
2 October 1959 outlining the remaining work and funds necessary to
complete this task. This request has been reviewed by our ing
Staff and is acceptable.
3. It is requested that Task Order I be amended to authorise
this increase in cost, with no chime in aaspletion date of this task,
which shall rraln 31 December 1959. Attached is i8squisition No.
t 60-203 indicating that the allotment to be charged is 9/7900-50-600.
