purposes, for the AS-3 equipment. These are as follows:

Computations for these figures were made based on a total
quantity of approximately 200 units to start delivery approxi-
mately 10 months after receipt of an order and to be delivered
at a rate of about 20 each per month. Instruction books have
been included but operating and maintenance spares were not.
We feel that an effective trade of time for cost can be made
in that a 3-4 months' effort in production engineering work
would yield good cost reduction on some of the units.
