Familiareaticn sod Opersticsal Evaluation of Infrared Long Range Voioe Bruise's*. 1. On Thursday, 5 May 1955, ? trip was made to by the fallowing Agency personnel! The purpose of the trip was to operate and evaluate the TSS/ developed infrared long range voice communications eruipment. 2. The equipment consisted of taro package units. 'tech packspe consisting of a col,p.Late transmitter, receiver, viewer, powersupp;r, stand and carrj.ing case. See Attachment A. The eruipment *hen pacKed weighed 30 pounds per unit. During the tests all members nf the prrty and operated the aA-,uip- ment. 3. Tests began on the criiing of arrival at approximately 1100. The units were than rspaolled and the next two tests scileduled for the afternoon. 5. Tests ) and 4.
