1. The minutes of the last meeting of the Board were reviewed and approved
as presented.
2. The Board reviewed 194 cases of employees who had been nominated for
designation as participants in the System, and 3 requests for voluntary retire-
ment. It took action as follows:

(4) That following the discontinuance of the activity in which
tilized his special skills, he did not expand into an activity that

This recommendation took into consideration the following factors as were pres-
ented by Chief, Technical Services Division, DDP, during25X1A9a
his appearance before the Board:
(1) That is surely under-employed now in terms of his25X1A9a
skill in the job for whi.ccn n s originally hired to do.
25X1A9a (2) That it is inconceivable to him
could obtain a job outside of the Agency that woul
specialized experience that he had gained in the Agency.
25X1A9a (3) That in his judgment 7as certainly at a relative dis-
advantage for having been employed by the gency and not being able to fill in
the detail of what he had been,doing to a prospective employer.

following named employee, which involved a period of claimed domestic quali-
fying service, be deferred in order to allow sufficient time for the Office
of Security to revise the case in such a manner as would outline in concise
form the actual duties performed, and periods of time, places and indidents
involved:
The Chairman stated that he would contact the Director of Security with regard
to this case and the preparation of any other similar cases.
h. Recommended approval of the requests for voluntary retirement
