roved For Rele_ ase 2002/01/07: c - pr 178-03090A000100120020-5 25X1A SPECIAL BULLETIN No. 18 September 1970 To: All Training Officers of the Agency NARCOTICS AND DANGEROUS DRUGS In response to requests by Agency officials for current information and expert advice on drugs, the Office of Training has arranged with the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs (Department of Justice) to conduct a 2-day briefing on Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. DATES 13 and 14 October 1970 1000 - 1600 Hours. LOCATION Headquarters Auditorium FOR Agency employees interested in this topic. DESCRIPTION The briefing will cover such topics as: 1. Identification and recognition of amphetamines, barbiturates, hallucinogens, narcotics, marijuana, and synthetics. 2. National and international drug traffic. 3. Philosophical problems related to use of marijuana and other drugs. Ample time will be allowed for questions and answers. REGISTRATION There is space for 450 in the Auditorium. Form 73 is not required, but Training Officers are requested to call OTR/ISS/AIR with nominee pe ting to attend. OTR/ISS/AIR will then send to the Training.
