roved For Releasa 2002/01/07 : C-&f '8-03090A00 0120017-9 25X1A SPECIAL BULLETIN No. - 21 August 1970 To: All Training Officers of the Agency ADVANCED INTELLIGENCE SEMINARS (See pages 17 and 42 in the OTR Catalog) The complete schedule for the Advanced Intelligence Seminars to be offered during FY 71 is announced to assist components and individual applicants in planning their participation. Scheduled dates for the FY 71 cycle are: AIS 1-71: 12-23 October 1970 AIS 2-71: 8-19 March 1971 AIS 3-71: 10-21 May 1971 The Advanced Intelligence Seminar is a middle and senior level course designed for experienced personnel from all parts of the Agency. It places major emphasis upon (1) dynamic aspects of the changing international and domestic scenes influ- encing U.S. intelligence; (2) current and projected developments within the Agency and the Intelligence Community generally; and (3) an examination of the intelligence approach to selected substantive problems. Evening sessions during second week. PLACE First week: Room 1A-07, Head- quarters. Second week: Begins Sunday night at FOR Agency officers at the middle and senior levels from all Directorates and from the office of the Director. SPEAKERS Academic and governmental experts on major problems; senior officials and substantive experts of the Agency. PREREQUISITES Minimum grade of GS-13. At least five years experience in the Agency; preferably ten years. No more than two applicants accepted from any one office or CS Division. (Prerequisites may be waived with special justification.) REGISTRATION Limited to 30. Form 73 (Request for Internal Training) to be sent to OTR/ISS/AIR, Room 832, 1000 North Glebe Road, no later than 21 September 1970.
