RESCISSION: O'I*R Regulation 5-2, dated 18 Apr#.1 1955
This Regulation sets forth responsibilities and procedures for the in.tia-
tion and coordination of Agency and Office of Training regulatory issuances.
a. The Chief, Support Staff is responsib.a.e for the review and coordina-
tion within OTR of all proposed Agenc;, and OM regulatory issue ces,
and the initation of all proposed Agency issuances in the "Training"
series.
b. School and Staff Chiefs are responsiWLe for the initiation of O'. i
regulatory issuances, the contents of which relate solely to their
individual functions and responsibilities.
3. RESMSIBILITIES & PROCEt)EJRES
a. P r o p o s e d R e g u l a t o r (except those in the
-Training" series)-.

The Administrative Officer, OTR, shall act for the Chief,
Support Staff in coordinating all such proposed issuances
within OTR. He shall serve as the point of contact between
OTR and the Regulations Control Staff and between OTR anal
the originator on all smatters relating to a proposed
issuance.
(2) Recipients of a proposed Agency Issuance shall prepare any
necessary co rents and return the proposed issuance to the
AO/2'R by the indicated suspense date. All questions will
be coordinated through the AO/TR who will submit unresolved
differences to the DM for final decision.

The Registrar, O R, shall act for the Chief, Support Staff, in
initiating any proposed Agency issuance in the "Tning"` series.
He shall effect necessary coordination within OM and sub it the
pro .posed issuance through AO/TR to the ABH/S in accordance with,,
DI)memorandum, cued 30 June 1956, "Procedure for Processing
Regulatory ;term..."
