10. The (satellite performed poorly
during the month. Several spin-ups and long periods of

continued to operate without failure and base stations
remained with that space
segment for the entire month. Testin of the
satellite continues; cutover for the ~ should occur in
mid-June.
11. The 0 SC-lA installation was completed during
the month. However, activation has been delayed until the
antenna shed is redesi ned to reduce excessive attenuation.
A site survey at was also completed.
12. SC-lA terminals 0042 and 0043 were successfully
tested and acce ted for delivery at the manufacturer's
plant The tests demonstrated the
highest values of G T ever achieved with the SC-lA, due to
the new LNR paramp. Acceptance tests were also successfully
completed on the PSK Demod Automatic Reacquisition Kit.
13. The SKYMUX program is progressing satisfactorily.
Testing of the first article MX-113 multiplexer in all SKYMUX
configurations is complete; additional testing is being
conducted to verify proper operation with various mixes of
KW-7's and KW-26's over both local and HF tail-end circuits.
A rough draft of the production Acceptance Test Procedure has
been received, and delivery of the first six production units
is scheduled for 6 June. An additional 40 units have been
