As a result of the =Project and the President's Far East trip, FTS was flooded with priority reques s for crystals and for transceiver sets. At one time T&I was pro- cessing five lA priorities simultaneously. There was the usual question as to who had the highest priorit , but all deadlines and processing for early November TDY to assist with the installa- tion. 2. Although the number of KY-3 equipment troubles remain relatively high (usually faulty modules), the KY-3 system equipment available time for all 90 units for September was approximately 99.7%. 3. Two Electronic Technicians and one Wire Equipment Tech- nician entered on duty this month, and two Electronic Technicians resigned. Four technicians departed PCS, twenty-two are processing for PCS. Seven techs were on TDY during the month, and thirty-three were in various stages of training.
