1. The LDX/Xerox system between C.I.A., The White House,
State Department and the Pentagon was successfully' tested and
the installations completed. The crypto portion of the LDX/
Xerox installation at NPIC is completed and is awaiting the
Xerox equipment.
2. As a result of an apparent improvement in C&P line
conditions, six successful HY-2/KG-13 tests were made to Saigon
on this secure voice circuit during this reporting period.
25X1A6a 3. No satisfactory determination has been made as to the
cause of the fire at the echnical Section. The damage
.now was estimated at $300.00 to the building and $10,000 for the equip-
ment. Fire prevention procedures were reviewed, and several admin-
istrative measures have been implemented to prevent further incidents
of this nature.
