MAX-1 is a fully automatic, electronic, solid-state stored
program store and forward message switching system. The system
is to replace an existing teletype torn tape relay station and
shall route traffic in accordance with ACP-127.

ment. This drawing was approved for the continuation of plan-
ning with the exception that the M. G. units shown in the air
conditioning room will probably be moved to the power building.
