1. Project Description:
The DS-4 is a visual message display and teletype read-out
system for the reception and processing of 60,100, and 300 wpm
Morse Code transmissions. It utilizes a CW to teletype converter.,
a rotating drum magnetic storage device and a matrix display tube.
This unit has a standard teletype keyboard and editing controls
which permits the correction of any character in the display
message and the addition of supplementary information.

The addition of output circuitry to permit operation of the
DR-1+ unit with the Teletype Corporation Model 28 Typing Reperforator
was discussed with the contractor. He will submit a cost estimate
for the work required to adapt the Model 28 to the DR-4.
