SUBJECT: Trip Report - AR-18 Base Station Automatic Receivers
1. Project Description:
This task provides for the fabrication of two AR-18 auto-
matic base station receivers. The unit automatically recognizes
and receives high speed Tri-Phase (1h8o wpm) RS-18 field set and
AT-11 Modulator transmissions. The output is a punched teletype
tape at a 1+80 wpm rate.

The first of three units to be delivered under this contract
was currently being tested and the only other item of work which
remains to be completed was the final front panel for the test

simulator Braver. The unit is expected to be ready for ship-
ment on 25 January. The fabrication of the second unit is
almost completed and testing will start after completion of
the first unit. It should be ready for delivery mid-February,
however, the contractor will not deliver this unit at that
time. It will be used to test the AT-11 modulators being
developed under Contract 915, T.0.3.
Currently arrangements bei made with OC-OS for the
installation of this unit atto support a test program 25X1 A6b
which will include this unit, the RS-18 and the AT-l1 modu]ators
