SUBJECT: Transmittal of Study, Participation in
World Youth Festivals
1. Attached is a tabulation, prepared by the International
Communism Division of this Staff, of data on the 1955 Warsaw and
1957 Moscow World Youth Festivals. It will be helpful in evaluating
the relative success or failure of past and future World Youth
Festivals, not only internationally but also regionally and nationally,
and in determining any changes in the areas, countries or organiza-
tions that appear to be the primary targets of Communist front
activity.
2. A ,copy of this tabulation is being sent directly to 25X1A8a
additional copies are attached for your distribution to other DDi
components if desired. Distribution is being made to other U. S.
