the matter through liaison with the FBI. She asked for an interim
response, which will go forward shortly.
on the staff of Representative Don E. Young (R. , Alaska), in connection
with his inquiry of late Friday afternoon about whether the Agency had
any information about the crash of a Trans Avia International Airline
flight in the vicinity of Adak, Alaska on 22 September 1975. He had also
asked whether ne of the victims of the crash, was an
Agency employee. After checking with the Office of Personnel, the Office
of Security and DO, I advised Kelder that based on the
information given me I could tell him that the Agency had noth.in to do
with the Trans Avia International Airline and, in addition, tha

6. ADMINISTRATIVE Received a call. from
Wes Clark, White house staff, who is currently working for John O. Marsh,
Counsellor to the President. Ile said Marsh had received my note with the
.attached exchange of correspondence with Representative Bella, Y
regarding information she has demanded
case. Clark asked me to review the bac roan on this situation which I
provided him. He said he wanted to talk with Jack Marsh about it, but also

offer to Mrs. Abzug and felt that we had to remain with that position, although
