1. (Unclassified - RJK) Called Melanie Duns.hie, in .Representative
Bill Frenzel's (R., Minn.) office. I told her I was responding to tier
earlier request for a State Department study of the Khmer Rouge. ,Based
on guidance from Mr. Gary, I told her that ther.ewas no geh..c.~y eport:
fitting the description and that we could not offer anything unclassified
on the subject. She replied that she suspected this would be our answer
and thanked us for checking.
2. (Unclassified -- RJK) Spoke with Jodie .Levin-Epstein, on the
staff of Senator Dick Clark (D., Iowa), who asked for the source of a
statistic in the Agency publication entitled "Potential Implications of Trends
in .World. Population, Food Production and. Climate." After conferring

to have the author of the paper call Ms. Levin-Epstein to discuss the
matter with her.

James A. Burke (D., Mass.) and George M. O'Brien (R.. , Ill.) suggested
replies to constituent inquiries.
