of the fact that on Monday we briefed the Special Subcommittee on Intelligence
on this subject, Slatinshek thought it would be reasonable if we referred.
Mr. Leggett to either Chairman Lucien Nedzi. (D., Mich.) or he (Slatinshek).
I told him we would do this.

17. IBRIEFING Called Peggy Weeks, of the
National Security and International Affairs Division of the Congressional
Budget Office, to arrange for a visit to the Agency by Ms. Weeks, Dov
Zackheim, and John E. Koehler, who is the Assistant Director of the
Division. They want to discuss international commodities agreements
withi OER. The briefing is set for 0900 tomorrow morning.

INR, State Department, regarding State's objections to our letter to OMB
on 11. R. 1311. 1 told Jones that we had concluded that State's objections
had some validity and we agreed that I would pass State's point of view oil
to George Gilbert at OMB.
