-Approved For Release 2003/Q9130 :,C1A-RDP76M0,0527R000700120005-6 Journal - Office of Legislative Counsel Page 2 Thursday - 11 April 1974 5. I I- PLC) Received a call from George Gilbert, OMB. We will not be receiving a written report from OMB on their comments on our proposed report to Chairman John C. Stennis (D. , Miss. ), on S. 2321 which places limitations on the tenure of the DCI. (OMB had phoned their comments to us several weeks ago and a written report was to follow. ) The comments reflect OMB's coordination with NSC. Gilbert cleared our report if we make the changes as they suggest. They are submitting their own comments on the bill separately to OMB. I told Gilbert that the suggested changes would be submitted to the Director. for final approval. 7. JGO) Received a call from William Hogan, Counsel, Intelligence Subcommittee, House Armed Services Committee, who told me that arrangements have been made for a reporter for the bi-weekly meeting with the Intelligence Subcommittee for 22 April. This was by way of follow up to the Chairman's request for a briefing on CIA activities in Chile, past and present, requested by him earlier in the week. I thanked Hogan for the call and told him that Mr. Colby, at present, would be able to make the briefing. Approved For Release 2003/09/30 : CIA-RDP76M00527R000700120005-6 CRC, 8/12/2003 25X1
