1. Robert Dockery, Consultant, Senate Foreign
Relations Committee, called to say he is leaving on Sunday, 13 January, on
a Latin American trip which will include Panama and Chile.
2. Bob Gants, in the office of Representative
Ralph Regula, called to say Dennis King, a student intern who will be
in their office a short time, is doing some work for the Congressman on
the Agency. He merely wanted to introduce King to me and tell me the
reasons why he would be contacting us.
Later in the day I received a call from King who said he was interested
in any information we could give him about our development and research
capabilities and our relationships with the Congress. I told King I assumed
he was interested in following up on the Congressman's interest in the
amount of economic research material which the Agency was making available
publicly and he confirmed this was the case. I told King I would pull
together some material on this and some of our. people would be in touch
with him.

Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Multinational Corporations, but
he is out of town until Thursday, 10 January. I left word for him to call.
