2. Jim Garrison reported on the meetin with General Carter, Bud
Wheelon, and others last night about the ontract. General Carter 25X1 A2d 1

that they had made a contribution and that the decision had been made in ac-
cordance with their recommendations.

10. Bob Bannerman telephoned to say that in a meeting last evening

have been a sudden change of heart, however, because there was a press
conference with many microphones on exhibit, and I saw a good bit of it
on television last evening.
