DIARY NOTES
DD/S 31 July 1964
1. I telephoned Emmett Echols in Deep Creek, Maryland, and asked
him to return from annual leave to accompany the Director when the latter
sees Senator Russell at noon on Tuesday, 4 August.
2. Frank Ecker telephoned to say that the Director will mention our
printing plant to Senator Russell on Tuesday. Frank hoped that we would
not take any irrevocable steps prior to that time. I assured him that we
would not.

3. I met with Chief of Station, - He had 25X1A6a
no real criticism of the administrative workload required at the 25X1 A
station. He was highly complimentary of who will return to
25X1 A6a for a second tour of duty after his present home leave.

Logistics. He was certainly not anxious to leave-but said that he 25X1A6a
was completely flexible and could arrange to come immediately, around the
first of the year, or at any other time management should choose.
