I. We have stopped publishing the daily appointment list indicating the
important appoaatmests of the t)Cl. DDCI and other senior officers. The cancel-
lation of this publication was brought about by the decreasing usefulness of it,
which in turn was occasioned by the Lacs that very few appointm.ats ware being
listed.
2. The appointment list, if everybody desired to list all of their appoint-
mests, could have provided a uianagiou-beat tool to kern. all of the top echelon advised
of various meetings being attended by the senior officers. La this way we would all
have been able to insure that ruatters of concern wire brought up at the various
meetings, and that all participants were hilly prepared for these meetings.
3. La lieu of the a ~~ointment list will each of the addressees have their
secretaries advise bid. secretary in the Director's office of any appoint- 25X1A9a
rrii$sts they may have on the owing day which should be called to the attention of
the DCI or I)DCI.
