that he be advised when we had awarded grading and construction contracts at Langley.
I told him that I would be glad to comply with his request. (Apparently he wants to try to
get a food concession to feed the workers.)
7. Attended a meeting which Kirk conducted for Bob Macy in connection with Bob's
trip to the Far East. It was composed of an over-all briefing by Kirk on the functions of
the Inspector General's Staff and how they went about their business. I think it served
well to advise Bob that there was someone in the Agency looking at all aspects of our busi-
ness, including the evaluation of various projects and programs. This was followed by a
