regulations be changed so as to permit the payment of 1/3 of the time spent on night duty
rather than 2/3 as is now allowed. I approved in principle and told him to go ahead and
work it out with those concerned. He also informed me that the FE Division would not
have any money to build until Fiscal Year 1959. I said that I
was sure we could find this money in Fiscal Year 1958 and that I would get in touch with
Ed Saunders. and see what could be done.
