economic portion next week. S. 1443 (the combined military and economic

5. (Unclassified - GLC) Attempted to see Janice Brodsky, on the staff
of Senator J. Glenn Beall (R., Md. ), regarding an inquiry the Senator has
received from a constituent regarding possible Agency involvement in the

so I will try to see her again on Monday.
6. ccompanied the Director who appeared before
Senators McClellan and Young and began to cover with them the contents of
the NSCIDs, but was interrupted by a quorum call early in his presentation.
The Director also took advantage of the occasion to explain briefly to the
Senators details of a sensitive covert operation which involved withdrawal
from Reserves and in which they had expressed an interest.
