(Secret - GLC) Met with Guy McConnell, Senate Appropriations Committee staff, and left with him copies of Volumes I and II of the OSR publication on Soviet Defense Expenditures. I also brought McConnell up to date on several current intelligence items including recent ICBM tests regarding Soviet Scud tactical missiles, and the confiscation by Italian police of several "Strelas" missiles. Also left and McConnell's notes on those papers presence of several Soviet vessels in the Caribbean recently, I I current information 25X1 6. (Secret - GLC) Handcarried to Dave Dorsen, on the staff of Ervin's Select Committee on Watergate, a new copy of Tab F of Volume I of "Documentation Provided by CIA" dated 1 June 1973. Referring to our 25X1 conversation last week, I told Dorsen that we would be happy to talk with him and/or Scott Armstrong with respect to our relationship withi I also reminded him that we were counting on them to look out 25X1 for our interest with respect to sensitive information the Committee 25X1 7. (Secret - GLC) Talked with Al Tarabochia, enate Internal Security Subcommittee, regarding his request for access tol I told Tarabochia that situation was extremely sensitive an our people would prefer that there be no direct personal contact with 25X1 him. I did suggest, however, that if Tarabochia wished to draw up some questions which we could submit to to answer, we would be happy to get these questions to him. Tarabochia said he appreciated the situation and would be pleased to handle this anyway we liked.
