Eastland, Chairman, Senate Judi as considerin 25X1 legislation on behalf of Sourwine assumes that we asked Eastland to introduce t is i. . He said their Subcommittee never really 25X1 had a. "shot" at and he would like to raise the question of a possible interview with him. Despite Sourwine's statement that he was not trying 25X1 to put any qualifications on a bill for he is obviously suggesting a 25X1 quid pro quo in exchan e f r favorable Judiciary Committee consideration of a private bill for I told him we had indeed contacted the 25X1 Subcommittee on this case and added I would look into the question which he raised.
