14. (Unclassified - JMM) Talked to Jack Ticer, Senate Armed
Services Committee staff, about an appointment for the Director to see
Chairman Stennis. Ticer said in Senator Symington's absence Stennis was
extremely hard-pressed and recommended that unless we had an urgent
problem it would be best to wait another week.
