Appropriations Committee staff, he asked if we would comment for Representative
Robert Sikes (D. , Fla. ) on the article entitled "Foxbat Successor Developed"
in the 15 January 1973 newsletter Soviet Aerospace. Bruce Clarke, D/OSR, has
been advised.
2. I Bob Boyd, in the office of Representative
Jerry Pettis (R. , Calif. ), called and asked if we had any information concerning
the airline "Tri-9" in Southeast Asia. The request was for several close friends
of the Congressman who are takin a tour. They were concerned as to the
airline's reliability. I I was called and he had no knowledge of
the airline other than a State cable that identified it as an airline in Cambodia.
Mr. Houston, OGC, also had no knowledge of the airline. Boyd was called and
advised that we had no information concerning the airline and suggested that he
check with FAA.

3.1 Called Dick Schultz, Associate Chief Counsel, House

available for debriefing but that we had the Committee's interest in mind. 25X1A
