My dear Senator Mathias:
Jack Maury teals we that Sam Goldberg gave an an excellent
talk to our Intelligence Production class on the Hill last Wednesday.
The, members of this class are intelligence analysts who are taken
from their desks for an eight-reek period for some firsthand
experience in talking with people from other parts of Government.
The purpose is to broaden their horizons and give them a better
u"ersUnding of how their work relates to other Government
functions.
Seam's talk about relations between the Executive and
Legislative branches, and the lively discussion that followed,
real contribution to the program. I wasted you to
ow much we appreciated his making himself available,
at a busy time just the day before you and he were
e off for Caracas.
