MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Chairman George Mahon's Visit to Headquarters
1. On 29 November 1972 Chairman Mahon, House Appropriations
Committee, visited Headquarters at the Director's invitation. The
Director briefed him on the -project and Mr. Mahon asked if 25X1 D
Ralph Preston, Committee Staff Assistant, had been fully briefed.
The Director assured him that Mr. Preston had been kept fully
informed.
2. . Following this discussion, the Director personally
escorted Mr. Mahon through the exhibit on the Cuban missile crisis.
