SUBJECT : NRO Staff
1. On 10 Januar the undersigned attended a conference
convened by Director of Reconnaissance, CIA, to
discuss the implications o the proposed NRO Staff organization.
Also in attendance were John Crowley and John McMahon of OSP
and Assistant to
2. The meeting briefly outlined the NRO Organizational
Chart to more clearly identify relationships, reviewed the
impropriety of having line functions within the NRO Staff, and
underscored the need to identify functions and responsibilities of
the Agency Directors and Program Directors prior to refining the
NRO Staff function and personnel requirements.
