I have asked 0 to prepare the attached resume of our
analysis of our Type II Configurations. In our opinion, these are
desirable improvements and are not of the "make-work" variety. In two
cases (UTB and color), we do not suggest that the work be done at this
time, but include the discussions for information. A third is as a
result of user requests and we cannot make a recommendation. The other
five points, as emphasized in the letter to Lou, should be given
consideration.
I hope that you will find time to thoroughly evaluate these
proposals yourself. If we are to stay in business, I think we should
be given an opportunity to improve the quality and reliability and to
make the product more useful to the Customers.
