Re: Bay of Pigs and Cuban Missile Crisis
This office has been directed to immediately collect and review the
basic papers on the Bay of Pigs incident and the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Accordingly, copies of those documents in the custody of the CIA
should be transmitted to this office. Concurrently, written comments
focusing on specific declassification problems should be prepared and
submitted at the earliest possible date.
Specific questions or problems should be directed to me.
