The facts of the accident of 12 April 1973 which occurred at 11th and Vernon Street, Arlington, Virginia, as described in the attached file, are such as to make the Govern- ment liable under the Federal Tort Claims Act. 2. Three separate claims in the amounts of $400, $718. 25 and $79. 98 are forwarded for your action: a. Mr. and Mrs. John L. It is my understanding that the total claim for property damage is $925 but that your subrogation claim is in the amount of $825, the $100 difference being the Palmer's deductible.
