PYNE: "You're a pretty smart fellow, and you could probably
figure some way to throw off the .polygraph, that's for sure."
DR. FRANK STRANGERS: "Well, no, it:-Is not my intention to
throw off anything. All I've done is gather the evidence.
"And especially when I wrote to the Central Intelligence Agency
before the third edition of.'Sauce..aramal came out. I said'
.'Gentlemen, my third edition's coming out,. would you please give
me some further information about UFO's?.1
"And they wrote me this letter, that's found on page 85, and I
quote just part of it. .'We have been asked to advise you that
the Central Intelligence Agency does not make public any inforw
mation concerning unidentified flying objects.,
"Now, it seems to me one of the highest investigative branches
of our government, if they fail to make any of this information
public, there must be a darn.good reason..
"So, I turned around and sai d,t .'Gentlemen* am I violating secur.
ity in any way, shape, manner, or form in telling many people about
