CONTROVERSIAL AIDES
One of the youngest-and most controversial-of
the "new frontiersmen" is 29-year-old Richard
Goodwin. The young Bostonian is a Presidential
adviser on Latin American affairs. Some political
columnists have been harping on Goodwin's in-
experience. They point out that he doesn't speak
Spanish. That he'd never even set foot in Latin
America at the time of his appointment.
But there's no question that Goodwin is going
