I note that furnished you an
information copy of his 10 February 1966 memorandum to me con-
cerning Martin Weil's 5 February article in the Washington Post
entitled "U. S. Easily Intercepts Luna Photos. But Officials Won't
Admit Doing It. " It seems clear from - memorandum
that Mr. has not seen or does not understand the 25X1 A
official Agency issuances regarding contact with public informa-
tion media.
I suggest you satisfy yourself that this situs-
tion is corrected without delay. Further, it might be worthwhile
to refer to my memorandum of 26 November 1965 to the Executive
Committee on press contacts and to require personnel of the
DD/S&T to refresh their memories again on this subject.
