SUBJECT : Proposed Subpoena Of Staff Employee

1. On 12 October 1966,
Branch of-this Agency reported the following:

Chief, Motor Pool
Office of General Counsel has informed
at Mr. Sam Langerman of the D.C. Transit Company called
25X1A W. advise that Langerman intends to subpoena the Chief
Pool Branch to appear at a court hearing scheduled

for 20 October 1966. Langerman did not mentio by

2. The subject matter, reportedly, concerns the six cents
per mile rate which the Department of Interior is charging the
D.C. Transit Company for the operation of buses on the George
Washington Memorial Parkway.

3. The undersigned apprise Assistant
General Counsel, Office of Logistics, of this matter and was
25X1A informed by_ that he has been dealing with the Department
of Justice relative to this subject for the past three years.
