'~_ .1 1 ' 13 April 1966 I spoke with Barrett Prettyman this afternoon, who said that Orr Kelly, of the Evening Star, will be present at the hearing in the morning in Baltimore in the Heine v. Raus case. He has' read all of the proceedings including the depositions and spent a week in Canada interviewing Heine. He heard about the case through a representative of the Star who has met with Raskauskas socially. Prettyman told him as little as was necessary but pointed out that Raus was unable fully to defend his position in view of the national security issue. Kelly had apparently taken the attitude from reading the pleadings that Heine had been slanderLd by Raus. Prettyman hoped that his discussions with him dim suaded him from this view.
