official, died of cancer Mon-
day at Doctors Hospital. He
was 52.,
Mr. Castle's
career with
the CIA, where
he served in
various capaci-
ties, began in
1949.
lie was born
in Washington
and graduated
from St. Al-
:ban's School in
11932. After two years at the
Wharton School of Finance
at the University of Penn-
sylvania, he was, appointed

shrubs at his seven-acre home

Hill, Md.
