The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers tonight con-
tinues its generous tradition of joining with the Association in presenting this
entertainment.
Harry Kalcheim of the William Morris Agency is another old friend of
the White House Correspondents and this year, Mr. Kalcheim suffered more
than he usually does. Our deepest thanks go to Harry and the William
Morris organization, particularly for their part in bringing as Mr. Holbrook
and Miss Jackson.
Our particular thanks, too, to many other old friends, including Paul
Cunningham of ASCAP, Orville Crouch and Jack Foxe of Loew's Inc. Mr.
Cunningham deserves more than special mention for the fearless, tireless
manner in which he explored Hollywood in our behalf.
