I told Mr. Berg that mentioned in the correspondence,

I told him that in our determination the matter was a personal one between
the two families. Mr. Berg thanked me very much for coming by and asked
if the original of the correspondence could be returned to Representative
Steele "as if it had never been sent in the first place. " I responded that we
would be pleased to do so and left the letter with him.

application nor scheduled herself for testing. In consequence her file is
being closed.
11. Met with Mr. John Martiny, Chief Counsel, 25X1
House Post Office and Civil Service Committee, and thanked him for the
consideration and assistance given the Agency with regard to the Ervin bill.
Mr. Martiny noted that we will probably have the same problem to face in
the next Congress.
