SUBJECT: Chairman George Mahon's Visit; to Headquarters
1. On 29 November 1972 Chairman :Mahon, House Appropriations
Committee, visited Headquarters at the Director's invitation. The
Director briefed him on the project and Mr. Mahon asked if
Ralph Preston, Committee Staff Assistant, had been fully briefed.
The Director assured him that Mr. Preston had been kept fully
informed.
2. Following this discussion, the Director personally
escorted Mr. Mahon through the exhibit on the Cuban missile crisis.
